Join hosts Doug (QBA Chairman) and Kath Brownlow at their beautiful bushfood orchard property in the Samford Valley just outside of Brisbane

BYO all lunch & drinks; Tea and Coffee provided  Program:10.00 - 10.30 Arrive, Meet & Greet over tea and coffee. 10.30 Introductory talk covering the history of establishment, species selection, planting patterns and methods, maintenance, mulching, fertilizing, harvesting, processing and packaging, pest management.

Sunday 1 - Brisbane Organic Growers Fair

QBA members Veronica Cougan and Graeme White will be participating in the Fair as owners of Witjuti Grub Bushfood Nursery The Annual Fair will be held in a very unique venue, at The Peace Hall located at 102 McDonald Road, Windsor, Brisbane. The Hall is situated directly under the Albion overpass near the Albion Railway Station.9am – 3pm

Saturday 14 - Monto Garden Festival. QBA members Veronica Cougan and Graeme White will be participating in the Fair as owners of Witjuti Grub Bushfood Nursery. Monto Showgrounds. Monto Landcare Group have planted a trial/demo/educational Bushfood plot of a couple of hundred trees with the future intention of putting in a number of commercial plantations on various interested members lands. Sunday 15

Rainforest Liqueurs - Field Day. Join hosts John and Mary King, founding QBA members and owners of Rainforest Liqueurs, on their property in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Camping at property available from Friday evening to Monday morning. To stay over please bring own food and swag. The Field Day will be held on Sunday including a tour of the commercial kitchen, guided bushwalks, and the King’s will share their experience of eco-agriculture.
