Saturday 29 (arrive at 11am for lunch at 1pm)

‘Christmas in July’ at Boofanugs – Outdoor Lunch 

Join host Anne Osborne, QBA Treasurer, RIRDC Rural Woman of the Year 2005 and property owner of Boofanugs at Obum Obum.

QBA Members are invited to a sit-down lunch starting at 1pm. 

Each member is requested to bring their own food in quantities to share with other members attending. 

Please advise the food you will be bringing to Anne from the following list so that a selection can be provided for lunch. (all food will need to be pre-cooked)


* bushfood hot meat/poultry/seafood dish - maybe a roast with bushfood herbs & spices as seasoning etc

* bushfood hot side dish (to accompany meat)

* bushfood salad

BYO equipment:

* cutlery

* chairs

* drinks inc alcohol

(Anne has kindly offered to supply tea/coffee, disposable plates and napkins and will be donating one of the Boofanugs native Christmas puddings for desert)

Anyone wishing to camp outside on the property Saturday night please advise Anne.

Join hosts Doug (QBA Chairman) and Kath Brownlow at their beautiful bushfood orchard property in the Samford Valley just outside of Brisbane


Sunday 15

Rainforest Liqueurs -  Field Day

Join hosts John and Mary King, founding QBA members and owners of Rainforest Liqueurs, on their property in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. 

Camping at property available from Friday evening to Monday morning. To stay over please bring own food and swag.

The Field Day will be held on Sunday including a tour of the commercial kitchen, guided bushwalks, and the King’s will share their experience of eco-agriculture.
